Default whats the fix for lite scratches on headlights?

like a dumbass i used a dish sponge to clean somebugs off a set of headlight housings i have and it now has a "haze" on it.
I know there those cleaning kits for dull lights but i dont want to waste the $$ if its not going to fix it.
So whats the best thing to do/use to buff it back out??

Hit it with some Poorboys SSR1. It will take a while by hand but it will look great when you're done.

PlastiX from Meguiars works awesome! I use it all the time! Should make them shine like new!

One of mine looks like it's covered in some yellow sap that you can't scrape off. I'm sure it's recoverable with some wet sand and some plastix but never bothered to try.

Yep takes some wet sanding and some polishing.

Kits you buy at the stores just come with "spray lubricant" and Compound with some lil sand paper squares.. I would just try some 2000 grit wet sanding, and just polish it off and see if it helps..

Just put it on a terry cloth towel and spread it over the areas that you want to polish and use medium pressure and rub in a circular motion....If you buy the head light restoration kit you get a polishing wheel for the end of a drill. That works really good!
