Hey slowverado, can you post some pics of the platinum gauges...both uninstalled and installed? Just want to see what it actually is and how it looks when on.
Is it actually metal or is it plastic that looks like metal, etc.? Can you describe it please?

Remember guys, get the LED bulbs with the 4-LEDs in them. They also sell the wedge bulbs with one LED...those won't look good. Also, when you get the 4-LED bulbs, kinda push em out away from eachother to disperse the light more. You shouldn't get any hotspots but just to be sure...

I found some of the pics I took of MacADaYear's truck and stuff....

This first one shows how you can put the same 4-LED wedge bulbs that go in the gauge cluster into the lower door lights, courtesy lights (as shown here), reading lights, and if you want, in your ashtray light, glovebox light and even in the light that turns on when you pop the hood

 

it's a plastic overlay...it doesn't look like metal, it's just the platinum color with blue numbers letters marks etc. it's a very nice looking piece. i'll try to get some pics of them on and off the truck but it'll be a week atleast before they're on cuz i'm gonna order some LEDs for the dash and sand the needles down.

man that looks awsome im going to do taht forsure but one more question do you have to order the bulbs from that one place or can you go to a like pep boys or somethin or a lighting store or somethin.....also slowverado i have a custom box already built for 2 12 inch solarbarics cracked my back window and dind't even have the amp turned up loud

 

Mac ordered them from there. I've been to a few REAL electronics shops (Radio Shack sucks) and they don't have anything like that website. Pep Boys will not have that for sure. I've checked at the ones here. All they have are those gay crappy APC painted bulbs which fade in a month.
Just order them from that website, I don't think they get any cheaper.
