Hey Slowverado...whats the website you got those platinum gauges from?

 

got'em from www.STYLINCONCEPTS.COM cost like 89bucks i think....i definatly need to do the LED swap cuz i broke a few of the stock bulbs and the turn signals and high beam light don't work so i might as well replace'em all and add a little bling at the same time. how did he go about sanding the needles, what grit etc. thanks for the info.

 

I want some white faces, blue indiglow gauges but..No $$ right now. Any have pics of those?

 

He used an Exacto Knife or just any razor blade will work I guess. I don't remember if he sanded em, but I would imagine that yielding the best results. Just use the finest grit you can find.

 

i almost ALMOST went ahead and got the black face flamed gauges....i'm not sure why, but i just thought they'd be cool for a second and wised up and got the platinums. i really like the way they look...havn't installed them yet but they look bad ***. only thing i don't like is that the speedometer goes, 20...40...60...etc...where the stocker goes 10..20..30 etc....but it'll be ok. and i think i'm gonna cut the spare space out on the left side and put my fuel pressure gauge there later on. i think i'm gonna go out to the truck and pull the cluseter out and yank the needles and start sandin them or whatever to get the paint off.

 

Be Nice to have MacADaYear on this but oh well im probally gonna go with the led light cheapest way to go im spending my other money for my custom box for my subs but if MaxADaYear were to read this it would help alot

 

racer, what kind of box? i have a custom box for reg cab for 4 10" subs...fiberglassed inside and everything.

 

What place has the cheapest price on a 2000 Esky cluster?
jpcustom? or where?

 

buy it at a dealership....make a buddy at the dealership that'll get it for ya at cost
