What trim to use?
#7
I wish they had paintable trim.
If they did, I would get the new '03 trim and have it painted, including over the chrome slot they have. I like the smooth, wide look of that new '03 trim.
Anyways, out of your choices, the GMC chrome bullet trim would go best, especially with the door handles, IMO.
The smooth look with no trim looks really good too, but in my case, my door gets hit a lot in the narrow parking spaces here at work. The trim saves my paint and helps protect from dings from other car doors, ya know?

I should be putting the sierra trim on my Victory Red Silv this weekend. I'll take stock, de-trimmed and sierra trim pictures to compare. Hopefully the stuff comes tomorrow, otherwise it will be next weekend.
