Default What is needed to make the ss engine cover work on my truck?

I have an 02 6.0L, but my intake is a 99 design. What will I have to have to make the three piece engine cover work on my truck?

Also, is $114 a good price on a brand new 3 piece engine cover? Thanks

114 is a good price for the 3 piece covers for sure. From what I understand you need to get the bracket that mounts on the intake for the new style covers but Im not 100% sure. But that is a good price.

I believe that is it. The side covers mount in holes already in the valve covers and the top covers uses the bracket mentioned above and one screw towards the front of the engine.

Sounds like a good price. You need the clip that goes on the rear of the intake cover and I think a mounting plate for the clip. I believe the 3 piece cover comes with the mounting hardware for the side pieces.

If you don't mind, could you give the part # ?

I bought all three about a year ago from GM parts direct with the little clip thing. The part #'s are as follows: 15006418, 15006417, 12568627, and the retainer part# is 12561510. The total at the time was $82.63, and they charged me $5.13 for shipping....total was $87.76. This was for the Escalade cover...with the Cadillac emblem...the SS cover is a different part number for the center piece only...but shouldn't be any more money.
