Personal opinion-it's not functional and it looks retarded on 99% of the trucks I've seen. It's not even a Chevy hood, it's based off a pontiac.

Get a nice cowl hood(not too big) or the SS hoods look nice for silverados. The SS style gets expensive real quick(iirc), but if I were you I wouldn't get that "ram air" style.

ive seen a few that look good with that hood but it just doesnt go with your truck.

if getting a hood and you want good fit and finish, get a steel hood, ive heard many times that fiberglass hoods for our trucks typically dont fit well

i say a cowl would be the best or the single SS scoop ram air

Yeah I like the look of an HD hood, but ever since I could walk I wanted a ram air style hood, what company makes a good ram air style hood that looks bad *** or at least a good cowl hood, and how much will it cost me?

If it's non functional as far as induction goes, it should at least evacuate heat IMO.

That hood isn't too bad, but it's not my personal favorite...I'm hoping for a Goodmark cowl hood myself someday.

If it was functional it could be beneficial, but i'd rather see an HD hood. That type of hood would have to be complimented by a body kit with similar lines to not look out of place.
