well here's some pics of my 6.0..everything is just "mocked up" for now..i have some aftermarket blue fuel rails and fuel pressure regulator coming, but along with my metallic silver ls1 intake and coil brackets, i was thinking of painting the throttle body gloss black, painting the accessory bracket, water pump and timing cover metallic silver, and painting the block black and leaving the heads the way they are now..

i was just wondering what others' opinions are..

Do what suits you. When u listen to other people then its not your personal taste. And later u will regret u didnt do it your way...

 

Nothing looks better than a Gloss Black engine...

My vote is for gloss black as well. Dont do any bright colors! Make it look clean IMO.

 

i painted the water pump metalic silver the other day..and i was thinkin just painted the block black and leave the heads aluminum or should i paint them black as well

 

Paint the block black. I would leave the heads alone and clean them up real nice like

 

All black.

 

gloss black on engine, factory finish on heads...it will look great with your choice on paint for the rest of the engine
