going to get my truck painted once the motor and tranny are done but having trouble deciding what color. i narrowed it down to 5 that i like. all the colors you can see by looking up either corvette or pick ups on the build your own chevy.

 

ill paint it red with black stripes

 

truck looks badass. id leave it the same color maybe a little darker. whats wrong with the paint now?

 

besides a couple nicks and scratches here and there, nothing is wrong with the paint. some of the scratches it has i cant seem to buff out to well. the worst spot is on the bed where the plastic bed caps used to be. a few rock chips here and there that show up alot when the truck is clean.

 

not to be a post ***** but what does blue granite metallic look like BTW thats what i voted for

 

i dont like repaints unless you do a really thorough job. its just cheesy when you can tell it was a different color.

i'd go with either cyber grey metallic or the blue granite metallic...either way it'd look really good

 

Have you thought about Hot-Rod Flatz? They have more the 60% shine black.

If I have my truck long enough to be re-painted I have contemplaited some of there colors.

 

i cant do dark colors or i'll have to wash my truck everyday lol. i drive alot on dusty farm roads so i kinda wanted a color that doesnt. i like the color it is now cause it shows very little dirt from a distance, its dirty as hell in this picture ut still look half way nice. the reason i want to change the color is there are like 20 other chevys in my area that are the same color. i want something thats a little different.
