Default What Back Spacing

I have a 99 GMC Sierra and am thinking of purchasing Eagle 219 wheels. The truck is stock height and I may drop it 2" in the rear to level it.

I probably will get the 20" X 9.5" wheels with Toyo Proxy 295X45X20 tires.

I have a choice of 5.0, 5.5, or 6.0 back spacing as well as +8mm or +21mm offset. I want the wheels to be flush with the outside of the fenders. Which combination is correct?

Thanks

I have 18 X 8 Eagle 219's and they have 5" BS and they sit pretty much flush with the outside of the truck. 255/55/18's By the way it's a 2/4 drop.

backspacing and offset is the same thing. you want about 3inchs of face on a wheel tuck. so a 20x9.5 id go with 6 inch backspacing. the only problem with eagle is that you cant get custom offsets. but you shgould be fine with 6inch

I have 20X8.5's with a 6" b.s. Will a wider wheel with the same offset still work? Wouldn't it put the back of the tire closer to the frame/wheelwell?

No......backspace is from the back of the wheel (frameside) to the backpad of the wheel. If you went to a 20x10 with 6" BS, it would give u another inch and a half on the street side of the wheel, and probably stick out.
