Default Weekend Project - 03+ Console

My truck already had a full center console installed by the previous owner,but I always liked the 03 and up console better.The console lid is taller and makes a better arm rest.Picked up a tan console,glove box, and knee bolster,and 03+ dash bezel at the local salvage yard. I used SEM interior paint that I had mixed at the paint store and shot it with a paint gun.The color came out great and the parts look like factory.

All 3 pcs. of the top of the console are sanded and ready to go to the paint shop.They look white,but are just the factory tan that is now smooth plastic

I still need to get an 03+ radio bucket to finish moving the ac and radio.Have a radio install kit ordered for the new bucket also.

This is in no way an attempt at a "How to" write up, just some pics of my latest project.

Looks good. I would do that in a heart beat if I didn't have the B&M floor shifter.

Man thats sweet! Lookin good for sure. I wish I would of known you had this planned cuz I had tw of the three top console pieces I just gave away that matches your color.

Would be interested in them,gonna have the tops and the bezel painted.Just haven't figured out what color yet.

Do you have to pull the seats to pull the console?

Yes, the bracket for the console mounts up underneath the seat bracket.

Well I gave them away already but I guess I could see if he has used them or if he is going too. I will let you know

just had the exact set up done in my 06 rcsb. top pieces painted black. you will be happy with out come
