Default Weekend Project - 03+ Console

My truck already had a full center console installed by the previous owner, but I always liked the 03 and up console better. The console lid is taller and makes a better arm rest.Picked up a tan console, glove box, and knee bolster, and 03+ dash bezel at the local salvage yard. I used SEM interior paint that I had mixed at the paint store and shot it with a paint gun.The color came out great and the parts look like factory.

All 3 pcs. of the top of the console are sanded and ready to go to the paint shop. They look white, but are just the factory tan that is now smooth plastic

I still need to get an 03+ radio bucket to finish moving the ac and radio.Have a radio install kit ordered for the new bucket also.

This is in no way an attempt at a "How to" write up, just some pics of my latest project.

Everything I took out

Finished product, except paint for the top pieces. and console lid

Looks good. I would do that in a heart beat if I didn't have the B&M floor shifter.

Do you have to pull the seats to pull the console?

Yes, the bracket for the console mounts up underneath the seat bracket.
