they are matte black, came like that. the 295/45s handle great, I have them all aired up at 50 psi all around. handles tight.

the 295/45s are 30.45 in diameter on paper. The 285/50s on paper are even bigger at 31.22. Personally 275/55s are ugly and too truck ish. Not sport look. Everyone and their grandmother has that size. 285/50s are rear to find a set, but you can find 295/45s a hole lot easier. But Im glad I did upgrade to the 295s. I thought it would have bulge more, but it did not, especially as i inflated the tires to 50 psi now. The pics above are like 40-45psi. I just had all the tires rechecked today, and getting them rebalanced tomorrow. Handles tons better than 285s as little wheel input is required. 295s are about .7 smaller on sidewall.

ps 275/55s are 31.91 on paper.

thanks for the info guys. I think the 295/45s would look good on my truck if it was lowered about 2in more all the way around. I think that 1 1/2 inch diameter difference would make it look a whole lot better.
