What exact engine combo did you decide on for the GMC? Like what CR and all.

Sure. I'll install the TYCs with the H1s they come with first and take pics then I'll do the HID conversion and take more pics.
On the 5.3L I am not sure what the CR is going to end up being really. I got all confused trying to figure it out without knowing the CCs of the heads so i gavce up. LOL I think it will be around 10.5:1 or as high as 11:1. We did my GTP stage2+ heads, 226/.590/116 cam, HO 5.3L pistons. Should put out some decent #s if the cam works out. If not we'll make another.

I paiud $220 through a GP a friend put on. The link I posted is for the company. I'm not sure who a distributor is. I'll ask my buddy who he bought them through. I think the dist. normally sells them for like $250-$275

For some reason they took the picture down. They only make 1 type of light for the Silverado 99-02' so they ones in the link are correct.
Here is a pic of them installed on the truck.

So the lenses you showed were reflector lenses, not necessarily projector lenses like you should have for HIDs, right? Guess I'm trying to figure out what seperates the 380 lens from the 100 lens here.

You can use regular reflector headlights with a HID bulb, just won't get a focused beam, that you would with a projection headlight, the reflector headlight may spread the light out in a weird way. not a big deal IMO.
I am very interested in this kit and want to do a GP!!!
I would get two for me, and run it in the stock low beam and fog lights, 9005 and 9006 for fogs in the Silverado. I wish there was a good headlight out for the 03+ Silverado's not just another version of the same headlight.
