Default Tires, wheels, drop question?

im looking to drop my truck soon, and was wondering what is the widest tire i can use front and rear, drop will be a 4/6 and the wheels i plan on getting are the 22" tbss replicas.

Trailblazer SS - Grey - Factory Reproductions

would 285/35R22 work up front and 305/40R22 in the rear work?

I ran 20" gm wheels and 275s up front and they would rub on long suspension travel. Also on the rear they ran close to the bedside. However with the 9" and +45 offset, it should work fine. 305s will look kinda weird on the rear rim as they will bulge out. I run 305's on a 10" and there perfect fit

ok, im not too worried about the long travel, roads aren't too bad here, so at the least i might have to roll the rear fenders?

If you run 16s now, plan on running 18s with those wheels.

305/40 will probably be a touch to much for the rear. Tires will rub like hell

I had 305/40 all around with my 3/5 drop. I had to raise the rear up a bit and the front rubbed all the time. I replaced the front with 285/35 with the 3" drop and it was perfect. And the 305/40 in the rear was perfect with a 4" drop.
