does anyone know if nitto or bfg makes a tire the is equal in height or close to the height as the stock tires? looking to put on some much better hooking tires that will fit on stock rims and are close in tire height...any help would be great. thanks

I don't think an 18 will fit a stock rim.

 

stock tire,255/70/16=30 inches
toyo proxy s/t,275/60/16=28.9 inches
toyo proxy s/t,275/70/16=31.1 inches
yokohama avs s/t,245/70/16=29.6 inches

would these hook better for racing purposes then the stock tires? just wondering b/c i am looking for something to hook better when i race with out having to buy new rims and everything

 

I'm sure either one of those would hook lots better than stock.I would go with one thats a little smaller in diameter than stock...maybe the 28.9 or 29.6 inch tire.

 

just shell the money out and buy the good stuff. You get what you pay for.
