Default tire size?

I just got some 22's for my f150, but i'm unsure of what tires size to go with. I've found some 265/35/22's for around $700 for the set. I'm just worried that there won't be enough tire and it'll look funny. The other size is a 285/35/22. The only problem is, the cheapest set i can find is $1000.

rim size is 22x 9.5 or 8? With an 22x8 rim will look good, but if a 22x9.5 the tire will be to small and it looks kinda funny

The 265/35/22's will have a somewhat thin sidewall and the 285/35/22 should look pretty nice not to thin and not to fat either.

You can also check out the 265/40/22's those seem pretty good also for your 22x9.5's!

I would go with a little more sidewall than the 265/35 or the 285/35. Don't know too much about ford trucks as far as what sizes you can fit. I am going to assume it is stock height though.

265/35 is 29.3'' versus 285/35 is 29.9. Not much of a difference, only in width, but the 265/35 will fit a 9.5'' wheels just fine. Go with whatever is cheaper
