hey anyone got any good ways to shine up tires that doesent involve them getting sticky and collecting dust.

 

Laquer thinner.. Won't get them shiney but gets them BLACK.. DOn't get it on your paint..

 

Clean your tires with a good tire cleaner and a brush, this step varies a lot depending on what kind/size tires and wheels you have. Making sure the tires are clean is very important. After the tires are clean just use a water based tire dressing. You can tell a dressing is water based by looking at it. If it's a milky white it's water based, the thicker, clear dressings are petrolium based and are usually the sticky ones that hold onto dust. Armor All original works well, just apply with a tire swipe.

 

I like the Black Magic Tire Cleaner/Shine (foam). Smells good too!

 

i use a proffesional grade tire shine try glimmerglassdetailing.com! he has great products!

 

i use silk shine from chemical guys. works on ALL plastic/rubbers. Before I do tires i use "LA awesome" from the 99 cent store and scrub the **** outta them and rinse than i use shiny ****.

 

i use armorall extreme, its a orange bottle and comes with an apply sponge, **** works great, and if yer looking for a spray Hot Shine..i cant remember who makes it but it works great too and they both last a long *** time with no stickiness

 

i got that one its a clean job

 

Meguire's makes the Hot Shine. That's all I've ever used and love it.
