I think they help out a lot I have an 11" on mine and love it, but it wasnt dark enough so now I have 2 layers and it is about right just couldnt pull up to close to red lights at night till I got use to it.

 

So, do you like the strip?

 

I glanced at this last night and it didn't bother me. Now that I come back and look at it, something seems "off".

I would vote for either a slightly less deep tint (keeping the width) or less width (keeping the tint level)....the combination of the dark tint AND the width looks odd to me.
