This may sound stupid.. but even stock there are a couples inches that are tinted and it bugs the heck out of me. I keep having to duck down to see. Does any one know of a way to remove the top stock tint so the entire windshield is clear glass?

Change the glass for one thats not tinted. Not trying to be a smart *** here but thats the only way I know of and I tried to find a way to get the factory tint off the back windows of my truck

Thanks for all the compliments guys. I really like driving with the strip, it does help out a lot. But I don't know if I'm sold yet on the way it looks on the truck. Some days I like it, some days it sticks out to me. We'll see, I'm definitely going to tint the whole front windshield eventually.

I had just assumed that it came from the factory tinted and you couldn't get one with out the tint. It was my first thought thought,, no offense taken

nice dig man!

But to add to the thread, I have my windshield done completely in 20% with a 5% strip over the 20 at the top, and from the outside you cant tell I have a strip, but from the inside you get all the benefits.

Hey Blue, how many inches is your tint strip from the top of the windshield? Have you gotten used to it after a while? I think I may put one on my truck a bit smaller but wanted to get the dimensions on that one first. Thanks, BF
