Thoughts about fiberglass caps...pics?

I'm followin y'all too I think, but instead of havin to cut it to swing open, you could just take and mount casters to the corners of the bed cover and have the slides for them to travel down mounted on the inside of the bed rails. That way the cover would open like this.

No cap. I'd get a chassis shop to make one out of tin for you...with the rivits or button head nut/bolts. My cousin had one on his ElCamino...I'll see if I can find a picture of what I'm talking about. I also posted a picture of an OBS awhile back that ran deep into the 9's with an LT1 stroker and procharger...but can't find that picture either

Another advantage of the cap....I could get one of those accordion looking boots that connect the rear window of the cab with the front window of the topper, so no custom lexan or polycarbonate windows.

I'm definitely open to suggestions, and the custom tin cover might just be the one. I'll have to look into that option further and see what some local folks could come up with.
Thanks for all the suggestions! Any pics you can find of trucks with cages and tonneau covers would be awesome!
