think I found out why it is bottoming out. the seals on the nitro drop shocks are blown.
crawled up under there and there is fluid coming out of the top where the shaft is.
guess I will have to find another set.
anybody have a suggestion?
also need to figure out if thats gonna help me from bottoming out.

When I put my belltech kit on a few years ago I got the nitro active belltech shock and the seals blew on some of them before I even drove it. I called the place where I got them and they told me to send the old ones back and they replaced them.

Yes - they make a IAS shock for the 2/4 drop.

truck looks good sits just like mine now. yeah mine rides rough in the rear too. but my socks are stock i think i'm going to get a set of monroe shocks that are 4" shorter than stock

when my 99 was lowered 3 front and 5 back i used deutsh tech shocks.

on my hotchkis kit it said the fat part of the shim faces the front of the truck
keep in mind your rear end is under the leaf springs
