Default Thinking about lowering it some more.

Currently have a McGaughy's 2/4 drop. Spindles and leaf packs. The ride is great, but I'm toying with the idea of going to a 3/5.

Does the ride suffer with drop coils in front?

Will I be hitting every turd on the road?

Opinions?

Thanks

I have a 2/4 and Im actually waiting on some 2" coils to come in. Haha I have spindles on now and I wanna go lower. I may leave some rake or get a 1" leaf. We'll see how much the springs drop it. Personally, if you want to do it, go for it. If we listened to other people all the time we wouldnt be different

I have 3" coils on my truck and i like them. My truck rides like my camaro did but handles better.
With the right shocks it should ride great, you dont want a shock with alot of resistance to compression, which is what i have.

what Jeff said, as long as you have a good shock your gonna ride like a Caddy.... haha, ok not really. I sure as hell dont wanna ride that bouncy.

my rear is kinda stiff with the Toxic's but they were cheap and I dont really mind the ride. Feels like a lowered truck IMO, just gotta dodge the bumps

and what naranja's said, 4/6!

a 4/6 on an 07+ truck is nothing. I run a 4/7 on my 99 silverado and that' equivalent to like a 6/9 on the 07+ trucks.

I thought about 4/6, but was worried about the ride. Hey "95 Bright Teal", what shocks do you have?

I'd go 4/6. Looks good as is, but a couple more inches would be perfect.... and then a couple more... and then a couple more... that's just how it goes!
