Only ones I can think of are Sunset Orange Metallic, the Yellow Sierras, and that 2000 Green color that was on that bagged truck w/ the Budnik Grid 6's.

Anyone on here have an unusual/"rare" OEM color truck?

When it comes down to the nature of a truck EVERYTHING is an option, even a bed.

GM would sell what was know as a fleet color. Which would require a dealer to purchase 5 or more of a ’special color’. Several dealer would get together and split the fleet making the ’special colors’ fairly spread out and rare.

The ’special colors’ are colors not available on the trucks but are available on other GM models. For example: one of the rare yellows that was ‘special’ to the truck was a normal option on the J-body.

My color which is called red/orange on the trucks and sunset orange on the F-body was only available for one year on the trucks and is GM paint code 71.

My truck is GOLD. I was told it was sunset gold, but it might be Topaz gold.
