Default tarnished wheels

ok so im outside cleaning my wheels and i notice one of my wheel's are tarnished. is there anyway to fix it or is it ruin. they are centerline wheels and i only had them for about a year and half, so they can be return but i would like to polish them or something instead of returning them.
Thanks mike

Are they aluminum or chrome... The only way I found to fix my wheels(luminum), make them look good again after a hard winter was to fab up a buffing wheel for a bench grinder, onto a electric metabo grined, polish the **** out of them...
good luck John

A yellowish 'tarnish' is nickel oxide and indicative of a poor/thin chrome layer. I wouldn't use anything agressive, try some simple chrome polish (should clean right off)and if that doesn't work, complain.
