allright allright. im gonna go with sierraon22's idea and just have them smoked black. i guess ill ask for like 5 coats. i want it to be a lil darker than urs. do they still light up as bright. or did u notice a lil dimage(word?).. i might just candy them for now, because that is the cheapest, and just wait for my drop, ss bumper, and all the other shiot i have planned...

My tails dont light up as bright as before but oh well. They are still bright enough to see in the day time.
The only problem that I can see is that some cops might be dicks and pull you over and say that they are not bright enough (I had that happen to me). I think the lights have to be visible from at least 250 feet, but im not too sure. I asked the cop that pulled me over and he couldnt give me a deffinate answer so he just let me go w/ a warning. Other than that I havent had any problems w/ the fuss.

Hope this helps.

I used to think the same thing until I went to a tint shop and asked if they could do that to mine. The told me that they couldnt because they would need to use a hot air gun to dry the tint to the tails, but this would melt the outer plastic on the tails.
There maybe some other ways but I cant think of any others.

I was thinkin about this, And what about getting 5 coats of black and only 2 or 3
where the light is supposed to show through, and feather the lines so It looks right. Would that work with a couple of coats of clear on top?
Know what I mean??
