I want to dress up my tailgate but do not want to shave the handle because u use it so much, does gm offer a tailgate handle that is painted or paintable, i want the handle and bezel complete. maybe even aftermarket?

I've seen painted ones, but they are for the NBS trucks. I would shave it and relocate it to the inside. Then you still have the use of it.

Aren't the SilveradoSS tailgate handles and bezels color matched? There's alot of guys here with color-matched handles...I'm sure that a few of them have probably sanded and painted their factory ones too.

Just sand it and paint and clear and you got it. you don't even have to sand it. you can paint and clear and it looks good.
