Default Sylvania Silverstar fog light ??'s

The stock bulb replacement is an 880. Right now I have 893 in my truck. I'm looking at installing Silverstar bulbs . On the Sylvanis web page they state that the 880 is 29 watts, and the 893 is 37.5 watts. If i put in the 893 is it going to melt the houseing or fry the wires? Or should I just stick with the recomended 880 bulb? Thanks!

Stick with the 880's, I put the 893's in mine and melted the housing's. Had to buy one new light and got the dealership to replace the other.

Thanks for the input. I'll just stick to the 880's. Don't want to melt anything.
