Sunday drive
Took the C/10 out for the first longish trip since I put it back together (85 miles). Drove up Hwy. 29 through the little towns of Century and Jay past all the peanut farms and across Escambia River and then back again.
The truck ran flawlessly. My mpg estimates are 13-14 average for the trip, which included a couple WOT runs down the empty roads and some stop and go traffic on the way back. The truck doesn't weigh a whole lot, but that's still respectable for a 38 year old brick with a ~380+ hp 357.
Oh and the tailgate is painted, I just haven't put it back on since I haven't received the bumper kit for it yet.
