Default Streaking on door windows

I've got a question, my truck is a 00 Sierra and ever since I've had it (about 2 years) both door windows have had vertical streaks on them. They're not like normal 'cleaning' streaks and are very noticeable but I can't get them to come off or even know what caused them. I'm wanting to get my windows tinted but not until I get the streaks off. Any ideas? Thanks!!

are they tinted at all now? sounds like they were rolled down before the tint had time to dry out

dirt can get caught in the belt moldings and cause fine scratches that look like streaks. there vertical streaks right?

I have them too, on the outside (not in the tint). I think mine is from dirt being in the window molding.

Maybe wet sanding them??
