With what you are trying to accomplish with your truck I woudl drop it leave the wheels alone, throw some sways on there and either pull a leaf out of the 2500 pack or throw the 1500s on there and see how it reacts and how much more drop you would need to get the desired drop you want.

The reason I dropped my truck is for looks and I like to go fast. I would drop it personally. Don't touch the wheels. I think dropping it will give it a more "sport truck" appeal.

on the 6/8 drop djm sells you just take out the big bottom leaf, then flip the axel from the bottom to the top of the spring, then you notch the frame. But the *** end is really weak. My big *** can bounce it pretty easy b4 the truck would haul a tank now not much but i say slam her down but get good shocks though. And i dig the chrome rims in the first picture. The black ones are ok but chrome stands out more.

Lower would mean less wind resistance and a little better mileage as well as better weight transfer and handling. I did lower mine a little but need it to still be a truck when i need to haul **** in the bed.
I think yours looks tough with the current stance, but if you are wanting it more for handling and track performance than you already know that lower will be better for those things. Either way your truck is a *** kickin machine man!

the performance aspect is my primary goal. Thanks again for your thoughts bro, I wouldn't be able to make as good of a decision without all points of view, so I truly appreciate your input and the fact that you took the time to respond
