One reason I was thinking of lowering it is to help with weight transfer, any thoughts?

I like option 5 that allenmehrer posted up. A few years ago, I'd think that lowering a truck was crazy talk....now I've got a set of lowering keys and shackles waiting for install. Nothing wrong with making a truck into a hot rod

my main reason for lowering would be for weight transfer, then looks.

you need to let me get you one of those top caps for the bumper. i doubt the weight is going to transfer any better just cause you lower it. its really according to how you lower it if its going to do any better. if you use shackles and hangers for example its still going to ''squat'' the same in the rear as it did stock. and if you use knuckles up front then its still going to be just like stock.

Just my 2 pennies but you may regret having your truck lowered, I think it will look too much like all the other lowered trucks then.
Dare to be a little different man, without making it look weird I say!
I think it looks great the way it is now, period.

thanks bro, I have no problem being different, just trying to better certain aspects of performance. Been driving my truck like this for a year now. The lower center of gravity and smaller frontal area I see as a performance benifit, looks aside. thoughts?
