Default SSR Engine cover?

What do you guys think about this engine cover?

Is it worth $300? ::passes out, hits floor::

I sold my painted Denali covers to get these without checking the price. NEVER ASSUME THAT A PIECE OF PLASTIC WON'T COST $300!

That's right...all three pieces (the main cover, the silver part and the $50 bracket to mount it to the intake manifold) straight from GM are more than $300!!

Okay, I'm done venting now....

I like it, but it needs to extend forward more like the normal engine covers

I was thinkin' about painting the extra intake manifold that I have, chroming the alternator case, alt bracket and valve covers, and getting a polished TB, so this would show all of that off.

It looks better in person I think.

I agree, that's a little bit pricey. If you do all those appearance things you had listed though, it would look pretty sweet under that cover.
