Does anyone know where besides the dealer I could find an ss tailgate cap. The dealer wants 149 bucks unpainted. Are there ever any on ebay or anything?

I painted mine. I think it came in a milky-white color. I think they do have a textured black one though.

Id buy that one of stylinconcepts. Thats the way to go. My truck came with that style tailgate cap from the factory, so did my dads C3. Is this a GMC thing or just common with these trucks due to them coming from the factory with a tonneau cover?

 

The SS tailgate cap has a little lip on it. That's the reason i was wanting it. These others that are cheaper are the same thing as the stock silverado just painted.
