You might want to check out street scene. They are producing the ss style front bumper cover/airdam.Hope this helps.

Just checked out street scenes website and got a pic of the ss style on a 99-02 application. Looks pretty good.

looks good from the front, but you might want to check it out from the side. ive seen one in person and it looks good from the front as i just said but when i looked at it from the side it does not contour to the body of a 99 to 02 truck. it is a straight bumper (cover) like on the 03 bumpers.

The '03 SS bumper cover won't work on an '02< truck without some mods to the frame horns. Even if it would bolt up, there would be a gap under the grille section where the bumper dips down for the '03 grille.

The Street Scene piece looks really nice! I would go that route if I were you..

I can't really see a big gap in the picture that Slowprocess posted.

Well, the original question was whether the GM SS cover would fit the 99-02 Silverado. Since the grille on the 99-02 trucks doesn't dip into the bumper, and the 03-04 piece does, there would be a gap there.

The other cover is an aftermarket piece by Street Scene that wouldn't leave a gap because it's an SS-style bumper made specifically for the older front end, which is why I suggested he go with that one.

Scream, i see what you're saying. I just thought that the SS style bumper cover made by street scene was only for the 03' applications because the pic they show on the website is the 03 model with the street scene bumper. If it fits the 03 i didn't think it would line up with the 99-02 (like you said). The one in the pic does line up fine, and that's what i was wondering about.
