It's not fiberglass anymore, It's plastic.

I like them both. I have also tossed around the idea of trading it for a stepside but always come to the conclusion that it's not worth the hassle.

I like the fleet side, although I have seen a few good looking steps that i wouldn't have a prob taking, maybe it is just cause you don't see many step sides runing around..

What kind of weight am I saving with the stepside bed? I would assume it's lighter?

I like them both also, but I wouldn't want a sportside due to the lack of room. My short bed isn't even enought sometimes, I wouldn't want any less room.

To me stepsides look good on 99-02 scsb Silverados and all scsb Sierras. Fleetsides look better on 03-up scsb Silverados and all ecsb trucks

99-02s Silverados I could go either way, but prefer a stepside. For the 03+ Silverados, defintely a fleetside. The Sierras could also go either way, but again I prefer the stepside.

I like em both I've often thought about converting my truck to a sportside, then I decide I like it how it is. I definitely think that sportside's look better on reg cabs than on ex cabs IMO though.
