Default Sport Side: Rear: Fender Wells

I noticed the other day while looking at BlueCajun's truck that the fleet side models do not have rear, fender wells. My step side however, does have them.

My question is, would it look (dumb/goofy/weird) to take them off of the step side? Personally, I think it looks fine without it on the fleets. There always dirty and when they are they turn Fugly grey. All they seem to really 'collect' is rubber.

I wanted some opinions before I make a move. You can't hurt my feelings. Shoot away.

Yes it would look funny. The well in the step sides its HUGE compared to the wide sides. I have a nitrous bottle hidden in the well.

So the stepsides have fenderwells like the front fenderwell? If so I would leave it and clean it like the front ones I think it would look better having it in there. Also without those when you do burnouts or go through mud/dirt it gets throw way up in there and onto the backside of your rear bumper and various other hard places to reach. I wouldnt take it off if I were you. And also I think it is there for a reason. The stepside beds are made out of that plastic crap and if your tire throws up a rock it might crack the bed and I dont think you want that. This is all if Im thinkin of what you are talking about right.

That looks to be a checkmate cover I had one on my S-10 great for looks but dont think you are going to keep anything dry under it. It leaks BAD, but looks good.

Twanks,
Would you happen to know of a way I could get ahold of the owner?
Thanks for the pic.
