spindles vs. springs
#3
You do NOT want to use Beltech spindles on your truck unless the have recently done some more r&d on them. I think the DJM kits use LCAs instead which is better for your suspension geometry. I think the perfect kit would be some Hotchkis springs in front and a shackle/hanger in the back.

I have the DJM kit, and I really like the fact that i get to keep my factory springs and shocks. It makes for a really nice riding drop.
I don't know that I'll ever go back to springs/spindles again!

ok, one more question... i've never really figured out what a shackle and hangar is... and where these are located, after installed.
after looking, i am now considering a 4/6 drop... would this work with my 20's in front?..

Shackle - holds the back of the leaf spring (closest to bed) to the frame.
Hangar - holds the front of the leaf spring to the frame.
Shackles take 30 mins - 1 hour to install, hangars take many hours, cuz you have to drop the tank and most likely move the bed back.
