Some pics of my lowered z71

Thanks for the comments
If i was to do it over again I'd probably do the lower control arms first and then if its still not low enough add spindles. The LCA's give a much better ride than drop keys and spindles.
Here are the lowers http://www.stylintrucks.com/part.asp...&partid=499990
And the uppers only help with alignment. You may or may not need them. I found them for really cheap so i bought them.

x2, when i was still on the dodge forums i rem reading somebody lowered there 4wd pretty low and ended up blowing up there cv's. And whats the official drop amount? looks great tho, makes me wish i had got a 4x4 if you can go that low with them..

There are sway bar end links on now just not at the time of the picture. They are actually a bit worse than they appear in the picture. The LCA looks like its parralel to the ground but its actually at like a 20-30 degree angle.
I might run into some problems with the cvs but i could save for the rcv extreme angle cv axles and that would remedy the problem. I will find out this winter i guess. I used 4x4 but it was at a very slow speed and i didnt have any issues.
Compared to a 4x4 its probably around a 7/8 drop and compared to a stock 2wd its probably around 4.5-5"/6 drop
Ya they're intro twisted vista II

Your truck looks great, but it has to have some serious bump steer I'm guessing. Not too sure how long your cv joints and tie rod ends(inner especially) will like running at those angles.

I have zero bumpsteer. It rides and handles great. I'd say the ride is about as good as stock if not better. I do drive it a lot more careful tho for clearance issues. TRE angles are an issue with any drop on any truck so i'm not too worried about them. They will wear out and i will replace them.

Wow nice angle's I love to see that. I dont think you'll ever have any troble with them mine were just like that and I never had a single issue. Heres a pic of mine you said you wanted to see it.
