If i was to do it over again I'd probably do the lower control arms first and then if its still not low enough add spindles. The LCA's give a much better ride than drop keys and spindles.

And the uppers only help with alignment. You may or may not need them. I found them for really cheap so i bought them.

I might run into some problems with the cvs but i could save for the rcv extreme angle cv axles and that would remedy the problem. I will find out this winter i guess. I used 4x4 but it was at a very slow speed and i didnt have any issues.
Compared to a 4x4 its probably around a 7/8 drop and compared to a stock 2wd its probably around 4.5-5"/6 drop

I have zero bumpsteer. It rides and handles great. I'd say the ride is about as good as stock if not better. I do drive it a lot more careful tho for clearance issues. TRE angles are an issue with any drop on any truck so i'm not too worried about them. They will wear out and i will replace them.
