I've never seen that before, that's kind of cool.......I have a door ding I may try that on. If you try it be careful, grinding a block of ice into your paint is going to leave light scratches. Make sure the area is clean first and maybe wrap the ice in something like saran wrap to minimize it.

on the wind with the door situation - man i opened my door and the GUST of wind caught it right as i opened it and slammed it open like if i was trying to break the door off i closed it and now my door is out of alignment and a big gash in the door from where it caught on the reverese side where its supposed to stop.. similar to yours but picture no car there for it to slam into yeah it was an ugly site this happened on christmas EVE 2 what a night that was
