I started talking to these guys 6 months ago or so. The price tag of $7K+ was and is just unrealistic. I started talking with them again a few weeks ago and we settled on a partial sponsorship deal that I can actually live with. I give them one magazine feature, which is already planned, and display my truck in their SEMA booth if they put one up this year....plus some cash on my end. Not an unfair deal at all.

I agree...that's why I all but finished the truck and secured a magazine shoot before I approached them again about working a deal.

My last truck was heavily sponsored as well as the one before it. I swore I wasn't gonna take any sponsorship deals this time but these are the last big thing I want and the retail price is just retarded. No way I'd ever spend 7K on brakes. I already have a magazine shoot lined up so I figured I'd test the waters and see if they bit...they came back today with a very reasonable offer plus the chance to display at SEMA which has been a lifelong dream.

 

Yah BBK's are not for the faint of heart. But without them, vehicles look unfinished
