Default silverado door molding

I have a 2000 silverado with the door molding on the outside. I would like to remove it but i have a few questions.

Is there anything like holes behind them

How are they held on.

I know this is a stupid question but i dont want to remove them if there is holes behind them. Thanks alot.

Nope, they're held on with double-sided tape. If you leave the truck sitting in the sun for awhile, the adhesive will loosen and you can pretty much pull it right off.

There are NO holes behind the molding. They are held on by glue. Mine came off really easy after letting my truck sit in the sun for a long time. I just started pulling and sprayed WD-40 on the glue as I went down the door. WD-40 softens the glue and makes it easier to pull off.
