Default Silverado/1500 Spare Rims - info?

I was wondering if anyone knew how driveable these things were. They look pretty lite, very police cruiser too . Thot I'd try and pick 4 up and use them for racing....can anyone provide some insight or info? R/

They're steel, and just like the other factory steel wheels minus the chrome. They'd make a good cheap wheel for racing although they're a little heavier than the stock aluminum wheels.

I got two flats in a week about three months ago (don't ask) and had my spare along with my step-dad's spare and the center caps from my aluminum wheels all on the drivers side and it looked pretty fuggin sic!
