I wouldn't recommend doing this if you have aluminum rims, I had same exhaust setup on my old truck and it was terrible for the finish on the rim. You have to polish your right rear rim every damn week, it sucks. I loved the exhaust but I would not do it again now that I know what a pain in the *** it is to clean your rims.

I seen someone with an exhaust that exited on both sides of the truck just before the wheel wells but I think that he might have relocated the gastank. Also, where the exhaust tips exited, the body was cut. It was on a black rcsb sportside truck that had a badass motor. I think that the guys website is www.mashedpedal.com but I can't seem to view any of the pictures on there to confirm.

I think i know the truck you are refering to. It had the motor completely built and blown, the side exhaust was actually coming out of the side of the truck, as in holes cut in the sheet metal. I think it had a fuel cell on it, that would make sense. I will try to find it and post some pics.

agreif, where are those tips from. I plan on doing the same side exit exhaust and those tips are perfect. does anyone know what a 5.3 with a radix blower sounds like with corsa muffler no cats and side exhaust or even just the exhaust with out cats.

Why dont you try the Nascar style "Boom Tube" I saw someone else on the car side of this site had one. My buddy is going to do it on his 2000 SS... Just a thought.
