285/75-16 (what I have now) - $133 ea
285/70-17 (comparable size) - $175 ea
285/65-18 (comparable size - hella expensive!!) - $214 ea
This is exactly the problem with 17 & 18" wheels. Personally I'd stick with 16s. 33s don't look at big on my truck with the 17s as they do on trucks with 16s. May be a handling advantage with the 17s though, I've never driven a truck with 33s/16s.

Of those wheels I think the MB Gunners look best, the others have too much "crap" (to use a technical term). I like the wheels that are on that thing now though too.

OK I think I've decided on the KMC XD716. The question is what size.

16 inch

17 inch

18 inch

I already think the 16's are too small. I like the 17's and 18's....only thing that worries me about the 18's is price. The wheels are more expensive, and the selection of 285/65-18 tires is limited and they are more expensive too.

would you like to put larger rotors on your truck? That's my only regret for getting 16's.

I personally like the 18's the best but different strokes for different folks, its your truck man its all up to you. They all look nice, I wouldnt go bigger then 18 if you go offroading. However I feel 18's will provide you a nice in the middle setup, decent handling and at the same time you wont loose the off road ability. There will still be enough sidewall on the tire to handle some decent abuse.

Go with the 18s. I really like the Gunner 6 also but it looks like you made up your mind!

I like the look of the 18s, but the price is a downside. Going to a bigger rotor is a plus with 17/18s. I am glad that I have 16s on my daily driver becuase I slam some potholes in the road that might damage a larger wheel. For me, I would decide between weight and how many potholes I planned to hit

I like the Gunner 6's too, but I'm worried about how popular they are. I don't want to have the same wheels as a bunch of other people, that's the only real turnoff to them.

I think that weight and cost are going to be the two biggest factors here. Sounds like 17's might be the best compromise, but I'll have to price out tires and wheels together.

Pic of my truck with 18s and 31.5" tires on stock height I think they look perfect as far as wheel size goes I would like some tires with some more meat on them for the offroad look.
