Default shave tail gate handle kits question

do they make a shaved tail gate handle kit for a stepside sierra that will pop it open or let you open it while having a cover?

How would that work? Where would you put the handle at? Even if you could put a handle elsewhere you would still have to open the bed cover.

put the handle on the inside, but put like a electric popper ran off a keyless entry remote to kick it oper and instead of cables like hydraulic arms or something and you wouldnt have to open the bed cover if the cover didnt over lap the tail gate

What kind of bed cover do you have? Even if it's a flush mount cover the tailgate shouldn't open with it completely closed.

mine is sort of like a toneau cover that locks on both sides to keep it held down from opening and it sits on top of the tailgate just right so that if the tailgate was unlached it could open without being held by the cover

I don't think there is a popper kit for that, you could make one up using a door kit, but would be a PIA..
