Default Scratches!!!!

OK, Whats the best way to remove scratches on my black truck? I got a couple from a damn bush and one pretty deep one from some dumbass with a knife in his pocket that decided to walk by my truck.

Clay bar it then hit it with a buffer and foam pad with a super light cutting compound, then a good coat of wax.. If it is too bad you may have to hit it with a milder cut compound and a wool pad...

If your doing it by hand, Meguiar's Scratch X is by far the best !!

You can even do a little wet sanding them polish it out with the Scratch X.

Sorry, but not it's not. I'm not sure if you are the same guy preaching scratch x from the other thread, but Scratch X is just a filler. It won't take out scratches. I speak from personal experience as well as from other's experience. I have a tube of it that's been sitting unused virtually full for the past 2 years. It gets put behind my Poorboys polishes and other products that actually work.

Even if you're doing it by hand you'll want to go with an abrasive polish. The deeper the scratch the more abrasive the polish will need to be. FWIW, almost everything you can buy at an autoparts store won't work
