roll pan...no lights for liscence plate...

Default roll pan...no lights for liscence plate...

All you guys w/roll pans - do you have lights that shine on your plate at night? If not, have you ever had a problem in TX ?

by law your license plate must be illuminated.
If you go to AutoZone you can but the lil kit to have lights.
That's what I had to do on my '00

the one I bought had one overhead light that was silver, but I painted it red like the color of the truck. Had to drill small holes to mount it, but no biggie.

We put a lighted billet tag frame from billet specialties on my friends truck when we put the roll pan on. It kept it clean looking and still got the job done.

badmofo - good idea, where did he get it? and did it cover up a large portion of the edges? I think they just made some dumb-*** law around here that says you can't have liscence plate frames - or at least it can't cover up the 'TEXAS' or something like that...

the same as an older one. the rear end didn't change in 03, only the front
