if you don't have a sportside, buy a metal pan and you can just fill the seam in with a welding machine
if you do have a sportside, but a fiberglass pan and you can fill the seam in with a little more work.
either way the smooth look will definately be nice

I plan on re-working my truck's rear end and getting a new steel roll pan. I'll be welding it in and having the box resprayed. I'm also probably going back to a normal tailgate with the license plate getting moved onto the new roll pan. Not sure if I'll flip the handle on the new gate or not.

That's what I don't like about mine, with the steel pan and plastic bed, it don't go together that well. I spent hours adjusting it, to get it just right, but then you got them lines! Yours look really good!

I dont really care too much for a rollpan on a stepside, just dont like the way it drops off. Looks clean on a fleetside. I'm thinking about just painting the rubber around the chrome pewter to match the truck.
