I just ordered my smoothe center caps for my rims and I want to have my rims painted black ( I think it would look sick on a white truck with limo tint). Is there a paint that will do the job besides powder coating them?, which is a last option because of the down time of having only one set of rims..?

 

I'd say do it right and powder coat them because if you paint them it probably wont last as long as powder coating will

 

yeah thats what I was beginning to think. BTW whats the average cost to have some one powder coat some 16" rims black? Thanks

This truck has paint matched wheels and they are holding up great! I doubt its a daily driver...but paint should be fine on your wheels as long as it is clearcoated. I know the factory wheels on my firebird are painted and have a clear coating on them.
